63rd Derby Scouts Autumn Fair raises £1,443 for the Scout Hall Fund

The 63rd Derby Scouts Autumn Fair, held on Saturday 18th September, raised a magnificent £1,443 for the Scout Hall Fund.

The Fair was opened by Councillor Martin Repton, who threw the first block on the Smash-a-plate frame.  Blessed by the weather, the Scouts were able to open up the Hall and make full use of the lawns showing off the static display of hawks and owls from B B Falconry, Dave Harvey's Blood Bike and Peter Ralph's (EMAS) demonstration of a defibrillator at their best.  The event was very well-attended, with stalls both inside and out being busy all day.  It was marvellous to see both the Hall and grounds come alive, with such a happy and positive vibe after the darkness of lockdown.

Thank you from the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts to everyone who came along and supported us.
