COVID 19 support in Darley Abbey

COVID 19 support in Darley Abbey

Derby City Council is working in partnership with a number of organisations to create a new Derby Covid Community Response Hub to help those most vulnerable during the coronavirus pandemic. In order to support this at a local level within Darley Abbey, we are looking to work with the council and create a network of volunteers to support those self isolating or those at high risk. We realise that the community has already started the ball rolling, setting up small groups on their own streets to ensure that people are looked after, and Sarah from Darley Abbey Stores is delivering daily to those in need. We know things aren't going to change with Coronavirus in the short term so, in order that we carry on identifying and supporting people, we need to create a resilient network.

Please get in touch via the attached form if:

  • You need help
  • You know somebody that needs help
  • You want to volunteer to support the community
  • If you have already set up a group within Darley Abbey
