Darley Abbey Village Hall, Abbey Yard, Derby DE22 1DS
National Grid and partners AMEC will be holding a one day for residents of Darley Abbey, to share with them information about the gas mains replacement work in their area.
National Grid are currently investing around half a million pounds upgrading 4,000 meters of piping, which is scheduled for completion this October.
Project Manager Paul Patrick said: "we welcome all interested parties to come along and join us at the village hall. We can explain how the work is progressing and address any concerns people may have. This essential work will secure gas supplies to Darley Abbey for years to come."
This project forms part of National Grid's nationwide gas mains replacement programme, which has been developed in conjunction with the Health and Safety Executive and the industry regulator Ofgem.
