Just one application this week. This is a Listed Building Consent application to retain a satellite dish at 2 Brick Row. Readers will know that the erection of Satellite Dishes and other equipment on Listed Buildings and Buildings within the Conservation Area are strictly controlled. Although the appearance of the building is very important, as well as the visual impact it has on the Street Scene, there is also the possibility of damage to the fabric of the building. The matter will be considered by the City Council's Conservation Area Advisory Committee as well as the Planning Committee.
