OARI – Oppose Alfreton Rd Incinerator - CAMPAIGN UPDATE
Thanks to YOUR donations, we have succeeded in presenting our case to the Courts.  In addition, the COMPANY behind the development, Envirofusion, have now VACATED the premises on Alfreton Rd.
Whilst this is really POSITIVE PROGRESS, we still have the matter of the planning permission to deal with, as planning permission remains for an incinerator to be established on this site.
Our specialist legal team are currently challenging this permission in the Court of Appeal, but, to continue to fight our case, we MUST raise a further £6000.
We need to raise this sum by MID AUGUST, to help us to OVERTURN the planning permission (granted by Derby City Council), so that NO OTHER company can use the site for this worrying type of development.
This is a LOCAL campaign, affecting local people.
