As part of the OCOR flood defence project the Council are carrying out environmental improvements in various areas, one of which is to upgrade the access track from South Avenue to the canoe club in Darley Abbey.
The main works will be undertaken next year but they need to do some preparation works before then.
They will  close the footpath for a couple of days during the week commencing 20th November to access the track while the work is carried out. Please see attached – footpath closure shown in pink and the access track shown in blue.
Signage will be put up next week to warn path users. Information will be updated as we go.
