Darley Abbey Scouts Annual Field Day

Darley Abbey Scouts Annual Field Day

The 63rd Derby (Darley Abbey) Scouts' Annual Field Day is on Saturday 8th June 2019,  opening 11 a.m.  on Dean's Field (Scouts Hall if wet).

We have a fantastic day in store for you: this year, for the first time ever, the Scouts are excited to welcome BB Falconry along to the event.  They will be bringing along a display of their birds of prey with two flying demonstrations (at 12 noon and 2.30 p.m.).

The Blood Bike is back and we will have a Tommy Silhouette & a Model T Ford vintage car on show.  Bring your bike along for postcode marking by our Darley Safer Neighbourhood Team.  New! Cake decorating competition (entry forms available from the Village Stores or at http://www.63derbyscouts.co.uk/save-our-hall/our-events/ ).

Coconut Shy, Tombola, Skittles, Poopla and other games; Smash-a-plate frame; Raffle. There will be lots of stalls: Books; Bric-a-brac; Plants; Clothes; Home-made preserves from local produce; children's books and toy stall.

Enjoy freshly-made popcorn or something delicious in the tea tent or more filling from the BBQ

Please support your local Scout Group & help save Darley Abbey Scouts Hall as a village venue
